Night Market & Charity Ball

Our NDK Charity Ball & Night Market is held on Thursday night before the beginning of the convention. While a donation is required to enter this event, an NDK convention badge is not required for entrance. 100% of the proceeds benefit our partner Charity.

The Night Market is a separate charity event. Minimum donation is $20

You do NOT need a NDK Badge to attend the Night Market. You just need to make a donation to our charity at the door!

What is the Night Market?
Every Thursday before the convention, we create the Night Market with fairy lights, lanterns, and booths filled with magical wares that you may only see during that time. We also have a free craft project for attendees! Once you make your way through the Night Market, you may sit and enjoy the magical night scene, or keep going further past the market into the Charity Ball. Dance the night away under our magical sky knowing that this place is only here for one night at NDK. At sunrise, the market disappears until the next year.✨

What’s the dress code?
The general dress code guidelines of NDK are applicable here. While this is intended to be a dressier event, we will not be doing a specific dress code as we have done for our previous Balls. We absolutely love and encourage cosplay! All clothing worn to Night Market must adhere to the regular NDK dress code guidelines.  Costumes and cosplay are not a requirement to attend! If costumes are not your thing, that’s ok! Just make sure that whatever you wear falls into the NDK Dress code.

Did you say craft project?
Yes! We will have a free art project available at Night Market for attendees. The goal of this activity is to outfit an art installation that will exist in the Corridor all weekend long! NDK will keep hold of the items and display them year after year.
